Choir

About Our Program

The Frederick High School Choir Program consists of 6 ensembles: Cantanti Dorati (Concert Choir-Auditioned), Teri Feroci (Treble Choir-Auditioned), Voce Profunde (Tenor/Bass Choir-Auditioned), Tempo Tantrums (Jazz/Acapella Choir-Auditioned 10-12th only), Varsity Blue (Show Choir-Auditioned 10-12th grade only, and Warrior Rhapsody (Non-Auditioned).  We also have a co-curricular Musical Theatre Class that is taught with the FHS Theatre Program.

Our program is centered around the growth and performance of our young vocalists, and encourages them to try a variety of music that is diverse in culture and difficulty.  We challenge these bright young minds to expand their talents and abilities in an environment that cares about their growth as human beings as well.  Our students have experienced high levels of success including superior ratings in our choir programs, and selection in 2018 to be one of the main stage shows at the Colorado State Thespian convention with our Production of Newsies!
